Hello! I’m Lucía

I’m a Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology (cPNI) practitioner currently completing my MSc with cPNI pioneer Dr Leo Pruimboom. With 20 years of healthcare experience, my journey has taken me from clinical pharmacy through digital health innovation, and now toward direct client practice because I’ve learned that understanding the person matters more than managing isolated symptoms.

My Background

I trained as a pharmacist with a specialisation in mental health, spending 7 years in direct clinical practice assessing patients, managing complex cases, and recognising the limits of medication alone. I also worked in medicines regulation at the European Medicines Agency, gaining deep knowledge of how evidence is evaluated. In the past decade, my work has focused on structuring complex clinical knowledge, developing evidence frameworks, and supporting decision-making in digital health.

But throughout this work, one truth became clearer: health is more than biochemistry or genetics. It’s psychology, nervous system history, embodied experience, and the stories our bodies carry.

My Training

I’m currently completing an MSc in Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology, a framework that understands how your mind, nervous system, and the immune system are in constant conversation. I’m also trained by Dr Michel Odent in maternal-infant attachment and nervous system development. This work showed me how early relational patterns shape the nervous system and persist as health patterns throughout life.

This isn’t theoretical for me. I’m actively building my practice with clients, applying these frameworks in real time.

How I Work

I listen to your whole story: your birth experience, your childhood, your nervous system’s learned patterns, what your body is trying to communicate. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I’m interested in understanding what they’re expressing; what unmet need, what nervous system protection, what relational wound is being held in your physiology.

I work within structured frameworks, grounded in evidence, but never losing sight of your humanity.

Beyond the Clinic

I’m interested in how clinical decision support systems can be built to serve PNI practitioners; bringing clinical rigour and person-centred frameworks to digital tools. If you’re a practitioner or team interested in building evidence-based PNI frameworks, I’m open to collaboration.
